OK, it's 1:22am and I know I should be working on other projects or WAIT, I should be sleeping, right...BUT I couldn't wait to post these incredibly adorable photos of Emily & Jordan.

Emily called an hour before our shoot and she was so cute, "um, so it might be weird or dorky but we were thinking it would be fun to do a few photos at an ice cream shop." Are you kidding me? ABSOLUTELY count me in! There's an awesome little shop down the street from me called Doc Burnstein's so we met there and I have to say this is one of my favorite e-sessions of all time.

I think I have to go make a milkshake now. Calories don't count after midnight, right?

I can't say it enough...I LOVE photographing at Still Waters Vineyards! It's by far one of my favorite venues here on the central coast. This wedding was so gorgeous and the timing was perfect with the vines getting so lush and the gardens were all blooming beautifully.

So I'm always wondering why my back hurts so bad after weddings and it feels like I've done squats all day (other than the fact that I try to carry around three or four cameras at a time). And then I start editing my weddings and I find these photos in my wonderful assistant Terilee's collection of photos. Thanks Terilee, for reminding me why I hurt so much on Sundays.

I have to even the score and take silly photos of her too... She is an awesome assistant and a blast to be with.

I'm SO excited we are getting a "real wedding" story in Southern California Bride magazine from Amanda & Alfonso's wedding back in March. YAY! I will post again when it comes out. Here is the slideshow link to view more of their photos...

I received the sweetest email a few days ago from Theresa. We were past brookie students together and last August I crashed her wedding and took some photos for fun. My good friend Jennifer Martine is a food and travel photographer so together we made her a little album from the combined reception photos we took.

This is what she wrote:

So here I was goofing off at the end of this wedding taking a bunch of low light shots of the setting and these guys ran up and plopped in front of my shot like this. I was cracking up. This picture just made my day. Thanks guys!

A few more...I can't help it. He's so stinkin' cute!

For our one year wedding anniversary Ben and I took a little trip to Yosemite in April. I just got the film in today and looking at it all makes me want to go back now. I feel like these images are just oozing with serenity which is what I felt being there. I love that Ben pushes me to take the time to shoot for myself. It's so rewarding.
