Gina and I go way back. We used to ride bikes to school together all the way back in the second grade. She is like a sister to me so when Rene brought her out here to California to finally propose after dating for seven years, I wasn't going to miss the opportunity to finally get some adorable engagement shots for them.

Rene proposed on New Years weekend in San Francisco and so when they got to SLO town to visit us for the end of their trip (and pick up Whiskey their adorable mini Australian shepherd I was puppy sitting for them) we ran down to the beach to get a few shots after the sun was already setting. There wasn't much light left in the sky but it was just enough for a few quick shots.

This was my first shot at a very hip wedding in the big city of San Fran! I love the classic old style of these blue dresses. And Caitlyn and Tom were one of the sweetest couples I've ever had the pleasure to work with. So easy going and enjoyable.
